The CBD Golf Escape! was held at Cypress Lakes Resort on 15th March 2008 raising an outstanding $470,000 to support the CP Helpline.

Guests were treated to the best wines donated by Tyrrell’s Wines and Blue Tongue Brewery kindly donated their exotic collection of boutique beer. The auction proved to be an outstanding success with items including a Paul McCartney autographed guitar, Disneyland trip and of course a Toyota Corolla!
While the golfers enjoyed the serene surroundings of Cypress Lakes Resort, Anthea Crawford undertook a fashion parade to preview the 2008 Autumn/Winter Collection. This year we were joined by Shiseido who demonstrated the finer points of applying their stunning cosmetics.
Children were well catered for with the Crocodile Man and Ruby the Clown, and for the first year a Kids Golf Clinic was held with over thirty children in attendance.
Jimmy Barnes donated his services, wowing dinner guests with an ‘up close and personal’ performance, a very special experience for all in attendance.
Again, thankyou to all who donated products and services and attended the event, this event was an outstanding success, and we could not do it without your support.
