The purpose of the role of Community House Worker is to, under regular supervision, provide direct care to clients in areas of daily living, whilst ensuring that OH&S standards are maintained.
Under regular supervision, support the health and wellbeing of clients.
Under regular supervision, facilitate activities that enable clients to meet their individual needs and goals.
These role are based on the Northern Beaches - various locations available.
Must have:
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated good communication skills
- Current NSW drivers licence.
Great to have:
- Experience in providing personal care
- Experience working with people with disabilities and their families
- Demonstrated understanding of cerebral palsy and allied neurological conditions and the potential impact on those involved
- Knowledge of Disability Services Act (NSW) and Disability Services Standards and implications for service delivery
- Experience working as part of a team
