The role exists to establish and maintain a professional practice framework in the discipline; to support the organisation’s strategic plan; and to ensure all staff working in services across the organisation receive a high standard of professional development support.
This position is situated within People, Learning and Culture.
This role is based at Terry Hills, and involves travel across NSW.
Must have:
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline; working towards post graduate qualification
- Where required, current registration with professional board
- Current membership with recognised professional association
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a disability or related field
- Experience in the development and delivery of education & training
- Advanced knowledge of and ability to apply the principles of evidence-based practice
- Specialist expertise in a particular area of interest
- Project management experience and superior ability to meet deadlines
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Disability Services Act (NSW) and Disability Services Standards
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Advanced computer literacy
- Current NSW drivers licence
Great to have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or tertiary qualification in education
- Post graduate qualification in specialist area
- Experience participating in research projects
