Who’s Who in the team
The Spastic Centre’s Business Services comprise two packaging and assembly businesses located in Wetherill Park and Frenchs Forest. The Business Services provide supported employment opportunities for people with physical and/or multiple disabilities. The Spastic Centre’s Business Services employs approximately 168 employees and 30 support staff with an operating budget of $3.1 million. Business Services was originally set up to support people with cerebral palsy but has expanded to support other disability types such as Down syndrome and Autism. Business Services employs a Site Manager and Site Supervisor at each site and six Business Unit Aides who provide attendant care support and assist with production output.
