The TASC team provide assistive technology services to children and adults across NSW and the ACT.
TASC provides consultative and technical services to meet the communication, alternate access, specialised seating, manual and powered mobility needs of children and adults. Consultative services are offered in a range of settings including school, home, hospital, work or day option centre. Technical services are offered through the fully equipped workshop based at Allambie Heights.
TASC is also a point of reference within NSW and the ACT for clinicians, educators and community, on assistive technology and disability.
Who’s who in the team
The TASC team is based at the corporate offices site located at Allambie Heights. The team includes occupational therapists, speech pathologists, technical staff and clerical assistants. TASC employs 16 people.
What’s great about working in TASC
Services provided by TASC are during the weekday in daytime hours with some overnight stays for rural/regional visits. We offer all employees great training opportunities as well as encouraging attendance at local and international conferences. Employees in TASC are able to participate in the overseas development program and as roles within TASC are graded, there are opportunities for career development.
