About my role
I provide services to the adult population in the north and east region. I have two primary roles: providing assessment and management of mealtimes and providing assessment and management of communication.
What I like about my role
Working with the clients is my favourite thing about my role. I work with a large number of people, which makes it a fantastic role.
What I get out of my role
The beautiful reward of seeing clients reaching and maintaining their independence and rights.
Opportunites I have had
I have had the amazing and life changing opportunity to work for three months in Timor Leste. To be involved in building the capacity of the Timorese community to increase awareness of disability, health and speech therapy was amazing.
I really enjoy working at The Spastic Centre. You are welcomed, looked after and have a great time. There are mountains of opportunities to increase professional and personal goals. I would describe it as a very supportive organisation.
