Quick Guide for Volunteers: Current positions

Dog Walkers – Allambie Heights
A few of our clients at the Allambie site are dog owners who require assistance taking care of their pets. If you love dogs (small), have an hour a week to spare, they would love you to help walk, bath and play with the dogs.

Volunteer Presenters, Northern Beaches, Hornsby and North Shore
We have developed an education package for primary school children and we are seeking to recruit volunteer presenters who have had experience in managing groups of children. Training, information session and lesson plan given.

IT Support Volunteer, various suburbs in Sydney
We have a group of adults with CP who need assistance in establishing access to Gmail. Some instructions on how to use Gmail may also be required.

Volunteer Photographer, various locations
The Volunteer Team are involved in various events during the year and would love the expertise of a volunteer photographer to record the occasion.

Boccia Assistant, Avalon
We have some talented Boccia players who are in the Australian and NSW teams who urgently need ramp assistants. Any Monday or Friday between 10am and 2pm. Training given. Opportunity to travel overseas with the athletes.

Carpentry Assistant, Brookvale
Do you enjoy working with wood and have basic carpentry skills. Our Community Access Service situated in Brookvale would love some help modifying boccia ramps.

Volunteer Hydro Pool Assistant, Allambie Heights
Help our children/adults enjoy some time in the pool. We have several shifts available during the week.
