Daniel
For the past year Daniel has thoroughly enjoyed the 2 days a week he works at Shalom Institute, University of New South Wales, where he helps in the administrative area. Shalom Institute has a history of employing people with disabilities, and Daniel was fortunate to be looking for work, at a time when Shalom was able to match his needs.
Daniel has a tremendous eye for detail, and always ensures that the tasks he has been asked to complete, are completed correctly, whether it is data entry, matching invitations and envelopes for conferences, or ensuring that shredding is completed without jamming the machine. He is an important part of the team, and is treated as such by all the staff and students with whom he interacts.
Daniel is proud to be employed at Shalom Institute, and is quick to let people outside of the Institute know this. He enjoys his interactions with other staff members all of whom he really likes. He has a wonderful sense of humour, and will often take a minute out of his day to tell you a joke. He always has a smile on his face, and this grows even larger when he completes a job to his and the staffs satisfaction.
Shalom Institute has a hard working and committed part time member of staff in Daniel. Daniel has a warm, caring and committed group of people as his employers and colleagues.
