Welcome to our web page

The ING Centre for Conductive Education provides various age appropriate programs run by qualified Conductors, whose qualifications are recognised by the Petö Institute in Budapest, Hungary. Programs aim to maximise individual and group outcomes. Students attending our programs are aged between 0 - 18 years and have cerebral palsy and/or a motor disorder.

Conductive Education is a holistic, educational approach to problem solving, where individuals learn to achieve their own personal goals, experiencing greater independence and exercising choice. Improvements are seen, not only in physical independence, but also in social competence, self-esteem, and, for gaining a greater sense of personal achievement.

The ING Centre for Conductive Education is auspiced by The Spastic Centre, and is supported financially by ING and Rotary International. Programs are currently run from the Centre base at Allambie Heights (McLeod House). Holiday programs are offered to families living outside the Sydney Metropolitan area.
