Registered Training Organisation (RTO)

What is an RTO?
Only RTOs can deliver and assess nationally recognised training and issue qualifications and/or statements of attainment.

RTOs are required to meet the standards set by the Australian Quality Training Framework.

RTOs in NSW are certified and regularly audited by the NSW Vocational Education and Training Board (VETAB).

The Spastic Centre is an RTO offering both nationally recognised and customised training.

Nationally Recognised Training

Nationally recognised training provides employees with recognised and transferable qualifications across Australia and practical work based skills and knowledge suitable to their organisations needs.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
An employee may receive credit for some or part of an accredited course, where evidence is supplied to demonstrate previously achieved competency on the basis of prior learning in the workforce or in some other activity.

Government funding options
Where appropriate, assistance in accessing funding for your employees training may be available through new and existing work traineeships.
