ClubsACT Children's Clinics
ClubsACT Clinics are a consultative service provided for children, their families and local service providers, living in the ACT. The clinics’ Technology Centre also provides an equipment loan service.
ClubsACT Children’s Clinics see children who are 0-18 years, have physical or multiple disabilities and require advice/recommendations.
The team is made up of a range of experienced professionals including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists and technology, seating and mobility consultants.
We can help you with consultation and advice on:
- alternatives to handwriting
- communication
- mealtime management
- computer access
- seating systems
- manual and power wheelchairs
- mobility options including the Hartwalker
- sleep systems
- technology for leisure and learning
- upper and lower limb splinting
- transport and vehicle options for safe travelling
- short term loan of technology equipment through the ClubsACT loan pool
- a range of subisidised training can be organised for therapy staff, teachers and families, in conjunction with ClubsACT Clinics.
